Protection
Yesterday I met some lovely people that visited me. One in
particular troubled me. She is very interested in the spirit world
and has tried some things on her own. More like verbalizing to
spirits and visiting possible "haunted places." The problem is that
she had a very agitated spirit around her. This spirit was so
agitated that it was trying to merge with me. Now, I do not believe
in possession necessarily, but this gave me a feeling that was
pretty close. My husband said that my face changed visibly. I was
overcome by intense feelings of hate and resentment. I told the
visitor as much. I asked if she knew why a spirit would be so
troubled. She had a few ideas but she wasn't sure. The spirit was so
agitated that I kept tapping my finger on a table. tap, tap,
tap..... faster and slower, ebbing and waning as the emotion
changed. I started to get the impression of a young girl who was
trapped in a house. She is now in the spirit world. She was
frantically coloring (maybe a coloring book). The same hand changed
from tapping to scribbling. Scribbling up and down in an arc, faster
and faster. up, down, up, down. faster. I let it keep happening and
tried to focus my concentration on the girl to see if I could get
some understanding of what had happened to her. Some scenes finally
came into focus. I described what I saw in full detail. I asked the
visitor to say she was sorry to the spirit. LOUDER. Say it louder.
She did. The scribbling and the tapping stopped.
I told the
visitor to stay away from a particular house she had visited and
planned on visiting again. Something's not right there. The spirit
girl was very angry. I sent her away. I projected healing energy to
both the spirit girl and to the visitor. She left. Afterwards, I
tried to get a better sense of the visitor's connection to the
spirit world. I could not. Nothing was there. I have never seen
anything like this before. Why have her relatives abandoned her like
this. Are they afraid of the angry girl spirit? Is she an angry
spirit or something else? I'm not sure. This starts to move into the
area of religion and theology. Areas, I try to keep separate - at
least for the time being until I can integrate them into my model of
the spirit world. I advised my visitor to stay away. She was leaving
my house to start a trip that will take her back to the place in
question. After she left, I felt the intense need to tell her again
not to go near that place. She has no protection. Her spirit
guides/;angels/relatives are NOT there. Everyone I have ever met,
has some connection to the spirit world. She only had a connection
with this angry girl spirit who is not related to her. It's like
someone turned out the lights. Flicked a switch . Where are they?
She shouldn't go nosing around in places without protection. Perhaps
this is a temporary situation. I hope so. Everyone needs a
connection to the spirit world. They watch over us. I am not sure of
how much control or influence they have over our lives or the course
of events, but it seems important to me. Perhaps they can influence
other spirits during their interaction with the living.
Help! There's a Dark Cloud Over Me!
Recently, I have done a few readings for people with BIG
problems in their lives. They came to me seeking something: answers
from the Other Side, the meaning of life, or just plain guidance.
Mostly, they were looking for a silver bullet - something to resolve
all their issues and change their fortune. In reality, this doesn't
happen. There is no silver bullet. Messages from the Other Side -
yes. Guidance - sure, any way I can help. A magic cure - I don't
think so.
I did a few readings with some VERY strong
contacts on the Other Side. They mostly had detailed messages for
the people being read. I was shown images of many of the issues
these poor people have been dealing with. It became clear to me that
after discussing these communications that sometimes people like to
wallow in their misery and do little to pull themselves out of it.
Why? Do they like it? Is there some benefit to having a dark cloud
over you? I think it's a defense mechanism. If things are going
wrong, then other people (husbands, wives, family members, etc.)
won't expect much.
The spirits I communicated with were
aware of the issues and the sorry state that these people were in.
They sent over messages of love, affection, hope, and they urged me
to communicate positive messages to hopefully motivate these lost
beings into action. I tried my best and after the sessions I had a
good feeling that I helped.
The point is that your problems
can be of your own making. Sure bad things happen to good people.
However, it's more acceptable for people to at least TRY and recover
from these setbacks. We can't just lay down and die. The spirits are
aware of these problems; your problems. They empathize with you and
feel badly when you feel badly. They would like to help. They offer
as much information as they can about the situation and try to make
me understand what the problem is and sometimes how to help resolve
it.
Everyday People with Psychic Gifts
I had two visitors last night. A young couple. The young man
was concerned because he's been seeing things. He reported about
thinking about death and impending doom. He would think about a song
and it would come on the radio. He would think about number and it
would keep turning up. He had the feeling that someone was trying to
contact him from the Other Side.
The above is a common issue
with budding psychics. Some people and even some psychics will make
the blanket statement that everyone has psychic abilities and they
either develop them or they atrophy. I don't believe this. Some
people just DO NOT have ANY psychic ability whatsoever. This
probably doesn't fit in with the famous psychic mediums' beliefs.
They want everyone to be psychic so they are interested in learning
how to "develop" these skills (for a fee of course).
Many
new psychics don't know how to deal with their newfound gifts. I
have discussed the above situation with many other psychics and we
are all in agreement - budding psychics start out by seeing lots of
negativity and less positivity. Let's examine this..... Psychics are
people who at least are more sensitive than the everyday person.
Simply put, they sense things ordinary people do not. Part of being
an experienced psychic is to understand how to accept messages, and
how to block negativity. Since psychics are extra sensitive, they
are more open and affected by negative energy. Negative energy is
also easier to detect and be affected by. I am not saying it's more
powerful, but it's distinctly different and therefore easier to
feel. I have found there is a type of syndrome (perhaps the psychic
negative feedback syndrome) with psychics whereby they start to
experience their gifts and they shutdown due to the overpowering
nature of negativity and negative emotions they are able to sense.
They hopefully try again, only to be overwhelmed with negativity
again. This may cause them to just stop trying to use their gifts.
Medium Methods
A lot of people are interested in how I communicate with the
spirit world. A large percentage of people that visit me ask this or
a similar question. I will try to briefly explain this. You've
probably heard of extra sensory perception - sensing beyond your
five senses. I consider what I do to be an extension of the existing
5 senses that works in conjunction with extra sensory perception.
Many psychics work on premonitions, dreams, the layout of a deck of
cards, rune readings, etc. which may involve senses beyond the
ordinary.
As a medium, I have the ability to see spirits or
what they want me to see (scenes, pictures, items, past events),
hear spirits or what they want me to hear, taste what they want me
to taste, smell what they want me to smell, feel (emotions,
attitudes, desires, fears, as well as physical pain) and experience
physical issues including health issues and ways they died.
Depending on the spirit's state of transition (more on this in the
future), they communicate differently. If they are recently
deceased, they may be confused and distracted and not be very
communicative. If they have been deceased for a few years and have
been contacted before and/or thought about often, they may have a
lot to say and be relatively easy to speak with. If they suddenly
died (accident, murdered, sudden illness) they may have a lot to say
and have strong desires to communicate with their grieving loved
ones.
Tough guy amazed by channeling of father and grandmother
We had another visitor this evening. I immediately got the
name Sylvia who he recognized as his grandmother's friend. His
grandmother came on strong and fast. She was anxious to communicate
with me and her grandson through me. I got a strong impression of
the name Luke. I asked who this was and he said no one he knew. His
grandmother insisted and he still denied knowing anyone with this
name. I told him to hold it and we would return to it later.
His father came through and was also anxious to communicate with
his son. I asked if his father had issues with his heart as I could
feel something painful where my heart is. He told me his father had
heart surgery and died of complications from that surgery.
His father showed me an image of himself next to a big tree. I asked
the visitor if his father was buried next to a big tree. He said no.
The spirit showed me the image again and insisted that he loved this
big tree. I asked again and the visitor suddenly remembered that his
father would often sit next to a big Oak tree that he loved on his
property.
The spirit of his grandmother came back again and
showed me a very strong image of her cooking, wearing a frilly apron
and holding a wooden spoon. I relayed this image to the visitor who
confirmed that his grandmother loved to cook and wore a full frilly
apron and often talked to family members while holding and pointing
with the spoon. The spirit showed me an image of pot roast and that
she loved to make and eat this dish. The visitor confirmed that this
was her favorite and something she made often.
The
grandmother spoke a nickname for her grandson to me and I asked if
his nickname was something like "Mooky." The visitor became visibly
upset at this as he took this as proof that his grandmother was
communicating with me. Without saying what the actual name was, he
said that Mooky was close enough. My visitor could not look me in
the eye and I suspect he was holding back tears.
After my
visitor recovered, he told me that he understands the reference to
the name Luke - it was his confirmation name! Again he was convinced
that I was communicating with his loved ones on the other side.
I communicated with his father and grandmother for over an hour
and had other family members floating in and out. I spoke of these
impressions, names, dates, and descriptions. I told my visitor that
all is well on the other side although his father was still restless
as he was not ready to pass. It was another interesting sitting.
Visitor's father in summerland
We had a visitor this evening. I started by predicting that
her son and daughter-in-law will have twin boys as the girl is
pregnant. She was a bit skeptical until we got into it. I
immediately connected with her father. I got the nickname of Lou,
Lool, or something close. She told me his nickname was "Lil." Yes -
this is close to what I heard. I felt a problem in my throat.
I asked her if her father had difficulty with his throat. She
told me he had emphysema and problems with his throat. I told her
that her father is showing the name Max or Matt - a young boy. Her
grandson is Matthew. He showed me that he stays around the crib and
protects the boy. She verified this information.
I started
stroking my chin and asked who has the beard as her father is
showing me someone with a beard that he's close to. Her son has a
beard and was close to her father. I got the feeling of extreme love
and warmth for her son. He kept saying and showing me - Love, Love,
Love. I passed this on to my visitor.
All at once, my thumb
started hurting me terribly. I started rubbing it and asked her if
her father had a problem with his thumb. She told me that he had an
accident with a table saw and that he sawed off his thumb.
Her father kept showing me the number "56" and everything was turned
red. He showed me a red car. I asked my visitor about the car and
she told me her father bought her a 1956 Plymouth..... in red! He
was so proud of this car and that she liked it. She was so excited
by this memory and was now convinced I was communicating with her
father.
Her father came across very strong and would not let
anyone else through. He was aggressive and domineering. She informed
me they called him "The General." I was shown several chairs and
then one in particular - a plaid upholstered chair. She told me that
this was his favorite.
His message was that he's OK and with
other family members. I find this as a frequent message from spirits
- they want to make sure that their loved ones understand that they
are OK and that the living relatives shouldn't worry about them. He
also showed me a grey elephant toy animal sitting on the edge of the
grandson's bed. I told the visitor that she should check if there is
already an elephant there. If not, then she should buy one and tell
the grandson that his great grandfather wanted him to have this.
I communicated with a few other relatives including her
father-in-law and ended the session after about an hour. She was
thrilled with our time together and we chatted about some haunted
houses on the north shore of Long Island.
